Outdoor Activities

Moraine State Park, featuring excellent bass fishing, picnicking with beautiful views of Lake Arthur, hiking & biking trails, and boating & kayak rentals.
Horseback Riding: Moraine Sate Park now has a concessionaire offering guided trail riding less than 5 minutes from the campground. Experience riding on remote groomed trails and seeing wildlife as well as the beautiful countryside. Reservations are suggested and packages are available, so please contact our office.

Lake Arthur at Moraine State Park

McConnells Mill State Park encompasses 2,546 acres of the beautiful Slippery Rock Creek Gorge. Naturally created by glacial lakes, the Gorge is famous for it's steep slopes and massive boulder field on the valley floor. A gristmill built in the 19th century is open for tours. Open sunrise to sunset.
