Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A: Cabins and Rental Units Check-in is at 4:00 PM til close. You need to Check-out before 2:00 PM. Campsite Check-in and Check-out time is 4:00 PM.
Q: What if I have to cancel my reservation?
A: For Campsite/Cabin cancellations:
Our cancellation policy depends on how far in advance you notify us of your cancellation.
• 30+ days prior to reservation date: Refund to original payment method minus $50 cancellation fee per campsite/cabin
• 14-29 days prior to reservation date: 50% of reservation refund to original payment method and 50% of the reservation is forfeited.
• 7-13 days prior to reservation date: 25% of reservation refund to original payment method and 75% of the reservation is forfeited.
• 0-6 days prior to reservation date: Full reservation forfeited. No refunds are given on or after arrival.
Q: Can we bring our pets camping with us?
A: You sure can! We love seeing your furry family members at Bear Run Campground. We even have some pet-friendly rental units available if that's how you choose to stay with us. Please familiarize yourself with our Pets Policies prior to your arrival!
Q: Are campfires allowed and can I bring firewood?
A: Yes, campfires are permitted within the fire rings. You’re welcome to bring your own firewood, however it is illegal to bring firewood over state lines. For your convenience, firewood is also available for purchase at our store.
Q: Can we request a specific campsite?
A: Through our online booking system, you can choose the site you wish to stay on during your camping vacation with us and purchase it immediately through our online checkout. If you have any special requests with your site, you can call us at the office (724-368-3564) and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Q: Can we have visitors while camping?
A: Yes you can. Visitors must register at the office and all your guests must have exited the campground by 9:00 PM.
